For The End
Author - Kavanne.
Feedback - Kavanne@aol.com
Notes - This is only the second poem I ever wrote so, do bare with me, OK?
Feedback would be much appreciated. This Poem is from a Peacekeeper's
perspective.
Day in, day out it's all the same.
Will I ever break free of this winding road of propeganda and principles.
Does no one care of our lives lost,
Or are we merely tools?
The road leads, narrow and straight,
Obey and die,
Or deviate to live.
Spent life lies all around.
Bloodshed.... So heavy my heart, I hate to say,
That these are ended, but mine continues.
My estranged soul struggles to enter, to let me cry out.
Mind is stronger and so are false values,
I leave the virtues behind, dormant but screaming
No amount of love nor kindness can make the mind leave these fields,
these killing fields.
