EFC Pie
by Anne Sealey A long, long time ago I can still remember how Will Boone used to make me smile And I knew if he had his chance That's he'd stop the Taelon's advance And us Earthlings could be happy for a while But the finale made me shiver With the blast that Zo'or delivered My world fell out of step When Kevin Kilner left I can't remember if I cried When Judson Corr had killed his bride But something touched me deep inside The day that Will Boone died So [Chorus] Bye-bye, CVI We'll always think about you With a tear in our eye Like the Flat Planet extras drinkin' whiskey and rye Singing "Why did he have to die? Why did he have to die?" We'll miss him with a fan's love Now that he's off to heaven above 'Cause TV Guide has told us so Why exactly where did he go? Does the Void now hold his mortal soul? Why'd the news trickle out so slow? No more opn'ing shots with him Like in we had all last season The intro's now brand new Just say this isn't true! When Ha'gel's shots hit him like a truck Why couldn't he have thought to duck? But I knew I was out of luck The day that Will Boone died I started singin' [Chorus] Now for one episode we've been on our own And Liam's already full grown But that's not how it used to be When it was Boone that Da'an would see 'Cause that's just how things should be They formed a bridge for you and me Oh, then while Quo'on was looking down Rayna shot him to the ground The fun'ral was adjourned Our Boone wasn't returned And while Doors' words were cold and sharp Liam saved Da'an in the park We posted memorials in the dark The day that Will Boone died [Chorus] We waited through the summer swelter Running to fanfics for shelter The premiere was approaching fast When we found "The Joining" was his last They said Boone's time just had to pass To make more of an ensemble cast The premiere came with growing gloom At least they kept the opening tune Now the story must advance Was this Boone's last chance? The supporting cast took to the field With Boone's fate already sealed Could all the truths now be revealed? The day that Will Boone died We were singing [Chorus] And we all watched with a sad face Re-seeing his atoms float through space And a new season about to begin Zo'or, oh so devious and sick, shot him With his shakarava lit like a candlestick (We doubt even Sandoval's his friend) And as that "Companion" took the stage My hands were clenched in fists of rage Though not born of hell He was evil, I could tell And as the hour climbed to seven at night I began my new Saturday rite I saw Zo'or laughing with delight The day that Will Boone died He was singing [Chorus] I was a poster feeling blue Waiting for some hopeful news But Tribune had sent our Boone away So I watched my tapes, more and more Where Boone was alive the year before But the effect, it wasn't just the same And on the boards the posters screamed Boone lovers cried, fanfic writers dreamed 'Bout Boone kind words were spoken For the ensemble had been broken The day the implant I admire most William Boone, Condor's host Was turned by Zo'or into a ghost The day that Will Boone died [Chorus] Bye-bye, CVI We'll always think about you With a tear in our eye Like the Flat Planet extras drinkin whiskey and rye Singing "Why did he have to die? Why did he have to die?" We all were singing Bye-bye, CVI We'll always think about you With a tear in our eye Like the Flat Planet extras drinkin' whiskey and rye Singing "Why did he have to die? Why did he have to die?"
