Heavens Descent Blue

A pale hand raises grasping hold of a blue jewel
bright against a diamond filled sky.

Blue tendrils quicken upon the translucent surface.
Pause then fade.
Luminous eyes watch in wonder
the world unfold.

Green and blue and white striations,
churning in motion felt and seen.
The gathering of a darkening storm threatens
the sphere upon which Fate turned an unforgiving eye.

With features peaceful and noble as legends of old,
with skin pale as moonlight,
garbed simply in statue like glory
he descends into the deep blue mirrored in his eyes.
